GIFT City is moving ahead with its next phase of development by focusing not only on business and financial infrastructure, but also on lifestyle, recreation, wellness and community-focused facilities. As India’s International Financial Services Centre continues to attract financial institutions, global companies, fintech firms and international professionals, the need for strong social infrastructure is becoming increasingly important.
As part of this growth plan, GIFT City has partnered with The Sports Gurukul and OneGolf to develop a modern, technology-enabled golf entertainment destination. The upcoming facility will be spread across 84,744 square feet and will include a 350-foot tech-enabled driving range, 20 golf bays, advanced coaching areas and dedicated spaces for corporate engagement, executive networking and community events.

The golf hub is planned as an urban sports and recreation destination where visitors can enjoy golf with the support of modern technology. Features such as real-time shot analytics, performance monitoring, digital scorekeeping, video playback and virtual golf simulations will help create an interactive and premium sporting experience. The facility is expected to become operational in early January 2027.
Along with the golf entertainment hub, GIFT City is also developing a modern multi-sport arena to improve its recreational and wellness offerings. This arena is expected to include facilities for box cricket, football, pickleball, baseball practice and golf-related activities. It is scheduled to be operational by September 2026.
The sports arena will include 8 pickleball courts, 2 padel courts, 1 box football facility, 2 box cricket spaces, a volleyball court, jogging track, outdoor gym and other amenities. Additional social spaces such as a café and multipurpose event venue will support community interaction, post-work engagement and lifestyle activities.

GIFT City is also progressing with plans for a Destination Mall, which is expected to become a major retail, entertainment and lifestyle hub for the region. The Request for Proposal for the project has already been floated. The mall is envisioned as a world-class mixed-use destination with around 750,000 square feet of minimum development potential. It will include premium retail spaces, domestic and international food and beverage options, entertainment zones, family recreation facilities and modern cinema experiences.
These developments show GIFT City’s broader vision of creating a globally benchmarked urban ecosystem. With sports, wellness, retail, entertainment and community spaces being added, GIFT City is preparing to offer a more complete environment for companies, professionals, residents and visitors.
The upcoming multi-sport arena, golf entertainment destination and Destination Mall are expected to play an important role in supporting GIFT City’s next stage of growth and strengthening its position as a modern global business and lifestyle district.
